This zine was created for the purpose of educating the general public on the topic of plastic pollution in the Ocean. It explores the history of humanity's plastic consumption and how that impacts the marine environment.
The two entangling lines that span the entire layout are representative of the tangled timelines of Earth and humanity's impact on it. One is organic and always-present, while the other is introduced later and is more streamline, almost wire-like.
The printed zine folds like an accordion and can be stretched out to 10ft.
It is our hope, that with enough time, resources, and attention, we can begin to untangle ourselves from the mess we've created on planet Earth.
